Coaching, Supervision & Firestarter Circles

Space to think. Support to grow. Community to learn with.

The best leaders don't have all the answers. They have the self-awareness to know what they don't know, the courage to ask for help, and the discipline to keep developing even when the demands on their time are relentless.

Our coaching, supervision, and group learning offer is designed for exactly those leaders — and for the organisations that are serious enough about their people to invest in them properly. Whether you're looking for individual support, group learning, or a way to build a sustainable culture of development across your organisation, we have something that fits. This page covers four distinct but complementary offers — scroll down to find what's right for you, or get in touch if you're not sure where to start.

1:1 Coaching — for individual leaders navigating something significant, or a quiet sense that something needs to shift

Coaching Supervision — for internal and independent coaches developing their practice

Firestarter Circles — group learning and peer coaching for leaders at any stage, from emerging managers to senior leaders who want a trusted space to reflect and develop together

Mentoring Programmes — structured mentoring for organisations building a development culture

1:1 Coaching

For leaders navigating something significant.

Leadership transitions. New roles. Difficult dynamics. A nagging sense that something needs to change but not quite knowing what. These are the moments when a skilled, independent thinking partner makes the most difference.

We work with leaders at all levels — from emerging managers stepping into their first leadership role through to senior executives navigating complex organisational challenges. Our coaching is direct, warm, and grounded in real commercial experience. We ask the questions others don't, sit with the uncomfortable ones, and help you find the clarity to move forward.

Coaching engagements typically run over three to six months, with sessions fortnightly or monthly depending on what works best for you. All coaching is delivered by EMCC Senior Practitioner accredited coaches.

Coaching Supervision

For coaches who are serious about their practice.

Good coaching requires ongoing supervision. It's not optional — it's what separates coaches who grow in their practice from those who plateau.

We provide individual and group supervision for both internal coaches and independent practitioners. Our supervision is EMCC accredited and creates a confidential, reflective space to explore your client work, develop your skills, and ensure you're practising ethically and effectively.

Supervision is available as regular one-to-one sessions, as group supervision for internal coaching communities, or as a combination of both depending on your needs.

Firestarter Circles

Because leadership development shouldn't be a solo sport.

Some of the most powerful development happens not in a room with a coach, but in a room with peers who are navigating the same challenges — and honest enough to say so.

Firestarter Circles bring together small groups of 3–4 leaders from within your organisation, meeting every six weeks with a skilled facilitator. Each session creates space to share challenges, build skills, and hold each other accountable in a way that individual coaching rarely replicates.

The format is deliberately intimate. Small enough that everyone has a voice. Frequent enough that relationships build and trust develops. Structured enough that real work gets done, but flexible enough to go where the group needs to go.

This is particularly well suited to:

  • Emerging managers who are new to leading people and navigating that transition

  • Rising leaders who want peer support as they take on more responsibility

  • Organisations that want to invest in their leadership pipeline at scale, without the cost of individual coaching for every person

A Firestarter Circle costs significantly less than individual coaching for each participant — and often delivers more, because the peer learning and relationships that develop are assets that outlast the programme itself.

Mentoring Programmes

Building a culture of knowledge-sharing that sustains itself.

Mentoring works best when it's properly structured — when mentors know what's expected of them, mentees know how to make the most of the relationship, and the organisation has the infrastructure to make it sustainable over time.

We design and support mentoring programmes for organisations looking to build a genuine culture of development and knowledge-sharing. From introductory overview sessions through to a full evergreen mentoring community, we create something that works for your organisation's size, culture, and ambition.

This includes designing the programme structure and matching process, training and supporting mentors, providing resources and guidance for mentees, and facilitating community sessions that keep the programme alive beyond the initial launch.

Not sure which of these is right for you?

That's a completely normal starting point. Tell us what's going on for your leaders and what you're trying to achieve — we'll help you work out whether coaching, a Firestarter Circle, mentoring, or supervision is the right fit, or whether a combination of approaches makes more sense.

I was so thankful for Kate’s coaching support on my return to work after maternity leave. It framed my goals and objectives in my career and encouraged me to believe in myself more than I thought possible! I have now become a coach myself based on the positive experience I had with Kate and her framework and tools.
