Why we exist

We Are Firestarter was founded on a simple but hard-won observation: the difference between teams that perform and teams that struggle is rarely process or resource. It's trust. Whether people feel safe enough to be honest, to challenge, to ask for help, and whether the leaders around them know how to build that, and what to do when it breaks.

That observation didn't come from research. It came from decades of sitting inside organisations, building teams, leading through change, navigating the energising cultures and the dysfunctional ones. Both were invaluable teachers.

What we do

We work with HR Directors, People teams, and senior leaders in mid-sized and large organisations who are ready to look honestly at how their teams really work. Sometimes that means addressing dysfunction that's quietly costing performance. Sometimes it means taking a team that's good and helping it become exceptional. Often, it's both.

Our work is grounded in real commercial experience. We understand the pressures your leaders are navigating, which means we don't arrive with off-the-shelf answers or theoretical frameworks detached from reality. How we work

We are direct. We will name the thing in the room, the dynamic everyone has noticed but nobody has said out loud, the pattern that's been eroding trust for months. We do that with warmth and care, because our goal is always to bring people with us, not to leave anyone behind.
